From Yunnan Mountains to Your Cup: Our Sourcing Journey
Our story begins in the misty mountains of Yunnan, where ancient tea trees have been growing for over a thousand years. As a small team of passionate tea lovers, we've made it our mission to bring authentic, high-quality Chinese teas directly from the source to tea enthusiasts across Europe.
The Journey Begins
Every year, we travel to China's most renowned tea regions: Yunnan, Fujian, Zhejiang, Anhui, and beyond. We don't work with large distributors or middlemen. Instead, we build relationships directly with small-scale farmers and tea masters who have been perfecting their craft for generations.
What We Look For
When selecting teas for our collection, we consider:
- Terroir: The unique combination of soil, climate, and elevation that gives each tea its character
- Harvest Season: Spring harvests (especially pre-Qingming) are prized for their freshness
- Processing Method: Traditional methods passed down through generations
- Taste: We personally taste every tea multiple times before adding it to our collection
- Story: Each tea should tell a story about its origin and the people who make it
Direct Relationships
By working directly with farmers, we ensure:
- Fair prices for tea growers
- Complete transparency about origin and processing
- Fresh, small-batch teas
- Preservation of traditional tea-making methods
From Farm to Your Door
Once we've selected a tea, it's carefully packaged in vacuum-sealed bags to preserve freshness and aroma. We ship directly from our warehouse in Bulgaria to customers across Europe, ensuring the shortest possible journey from farm to cup.
Our Commitment
We're committed to:
- Quality: Only the finest teas make it into our collection
- Transparency: Full information about origin, harvest date, and processing
- Education: Helping customers understand and appreciate Chinese tea culture
- Sustainability: Supporting small-scale farmers and traditional methods
Every cup of tea we sell represents not just a beverage, but a connection to thousands of years of Chinese tea culture, the hard work of dedicated farmers, and the natural beauty of China's tea-growing regions.
